Volume 4, Issue 2

Dear Friends,

The past two days have been a small break in an extremely busy schedule, for which I am very grateful...both for the busy schedule and the break!  I am sitting outside watching my little niece, Millie Kate, play and my mom raking the unending pile of leaves and I cannot help but think about all the things I have to be thankful for.

It has been a little over five months since my open heart surgery, and I'm doing just great. It has taken a little time to regain my stamina, but I am doing better every day.  During this time of recovery, I am recognizing so many tremendous things.  The Lord is supernaturally suppling for me in every area of my life.  The financial miracle God blessed me with during this time has been overwhelming...especially the fact that many of you are a part of it. It is during difficult times like these that God shows Himself SO BIG and also let's us see what a blessing true friends and partners really are!  I’m amazed to watch what happens in the Kingdom when there is a need...it’s not about denomination, recognition or reciprocation...just people helping people and advancing God's Kingdom!  I am thankful for you all.

I must also say, it is so exhilarating to watch God direct this ministry!

The only time things get overwhelming is when I forget that God is the CEO!
He is opening new doors of opportunity consistently and I constantly get to see the supernatural at work...but really, we all can if we just open our eyes! :)  With all that God is doing, it is very obvious that I need additional help to stay efficient. I am very excited about plans to hire a new employee by 2012.  This should help eliminate delayed responses to your requests. We desire to be good stewards of what God is entrusting us with, so we feel this is just the next step.

WOW!
Thank you God

You are amazing!

There's no way that I can finish this letter without saying how thankful I am for my wonderful family. We have had a tough several years, but God is so faithful!  My brother and brother-in-law's construction business hit rock bottom, but the Lord continued to provide supernaturally and now has blessed them both with great jobs. As many of you may remember, my 18 year old niece was killed in a car accident in 2008. This year, her mom & dad have started the adoption process for three sisters, ages 10, 12 & 15. My brother was diagnosed with Leukemia in 2005, but continues to get great reports from his doctor yearly. Our dad passed away in 2008 & our grandmother in 2009, but we are seeing first hand how the awesome grace of God carries you through. My mom is doing great, we are healthy and my family is blessed...I am so thankful!!

I hope you can take some time this month and let someone know how thankful you are...especially our God!! The old song says, "Count your blessings, name them one by one...". When we do this, it makes our difficulties fade away. Why don't you give it a try today?

God's blessings always,

Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths. Proverbs 3: 5,6
